Mildly misanthropic writer displays a sampling here..."How Big is One", "Me and Mr. C", "Cargo" and other stories, and some poetry.

Background Information

My writing is what I have been created in this world to do. It is more than a passion for me. It is nothing short of my life. I've spent a good number of tumultuous and confusing years in search of that simple truth. Having, at last, reconciled myself to that, now...I write. An avid student of humanity in general, my influences run the gamut. I like to think that, to a great degree, my most significant influence is that shadowy abyss that Jung dubbed the Collective Unconscious. I endeavor to reach into that shadow, feel the metaphor that lives therein, and translate it to a more literal and real-world somehow make tangible the intangible. It is my philosophy that, particularly here in the West, we have lost touch with so very much of our humanity...that the mainstream of Western culture's pursuit of mechanization, wealth, and power speaks so powerfully to the baser instincts of our human nature that all of our higher potentialities are at risk of falling prey to much so that it has even begun to erode the East. My work speaks to the dangers of our baser natures and the infinite beauty of our higher natures...the paradoxical transcendence that lives within humanity. This is why I consume oxygen.
