Prints and cards of paintings by Thomas Mower Martin, RCA
A webstore of pictures of original paintings for prints and cards by Thomas Mower Martin, RCA 1838-1934. He was a pioneer from the UK to Muskoka, Ontario in Canada in 1862. When he realized the soil would not grwo the foods he needed to feed his family he moved to Toronto. Poor economics in the city for finding work or starting abusness led Thomas to develop his youthful hobby of sketching and painting into a full-time career. He made significant contributions to the artist's world, had a family of nine children and was Swedenborg lecturer. Martin's oils, watercolours and etchings include landscapes, wildlife, native scenes and still life pictures.
