Traviesa is a 22 years old, attractive young woman, with dreams and hopes for a better tomorrow. For a long time she has desired to make a difference in the lives of young people, today she has chosen to carry out that plan. She realizes that she still has struggles and things in her own life to work out; meaning she is not perfect However, she feels in her heart if not now then when.
For Traviesa, sharing with others her own experiences of life; she hopes that she can be “A Road Block”, as to the needless destruction of another young life—while she works toward her future.
Raised in the ministry, by a single-mom, for the greater part of her young life. Traviesa enjoyed helping in the ministry with her other siblings, as she was growing up. She, especially, enjoyed helping kids that were in need and that were living in difficult situations. Traviesa’s all time favorite scriptures are that of the above, Psalms 37-3-4.
Traviesa will share with you her writings, which reflect that of her past, present, and her hopes and dreams for the future.
In addition, Traviesa began writing at the age of, 16, while at a juvenile detention facility. A local magazine,"The Beat Within", encouraged her to write, and in doing so published a number of her writings. Thus, this began Traviesa's love for writing.
Traviesa found that her new found love of writing came with rewards; through her writings, it became one of her greatest desires to be a voice to others. Traviesa has arisen, again, with the purpose and intent; to be "A Road Block", to others heading for a life of destruction; utilizing the most powerful resource she has to use, her writings.
