I am an avid dog lover....actually I love all animals! But especially dogs! My dogs were my inspiration for my books. Each one has their own unique personality and body language, just like people...accept, they never complain. Well, I take that back. Elvis used to complain once in awhile. If he wanted to go for a ride in the truck, or if he wanted a treat, I'd hear about it. He was quite a talker, and he loved to sing when I played my harmonica. My books are their "tails" as told through their eyes! Yep, Dogs really can talk...are you listening? 

I'm employed as an R.N. and I also work part time as a hair stylist in my daughters salon. I've won a few awards in poetry, but I love to write stories about about the dogs...after all, imagination is the playground of the heart!

I just completed my second book. It's called "Tails in the woods, by Charlie" This 'tail' was inspired by my dog Charlie. He's almost ten years old, and he never knew that he was a dog, (as a matter of fact, he'll tell you, he doesn't even LIKE dogs) until recently, when he set out on an adventure to find himself. I'm looking for a new publisher for "Tails in the Woods"
