As a mother of five, health evangelist and author/researcher I have discovered that it is as important to understand that the journey is as valuable as the destination. And to enjoy every moment, and live life fully.

Background Information

Year after year as I watch my own children grow, I come in contact with many other parents and children and am often reminded at just how different Paul and I are. How different our children are growing up compared to most families not only in America, but also all over the world. I find myself standing at the bus stop listening to other parents talking about the latest doctor visit and what drugs their child has been prescribed or how many shots they had been given. It seems to be a main topic of conversation between parents and it makes me realize how different my beliefs are from the majority. I have not taken any of my five children to the doctor in over four years. The last time I saw a doctor was to have my last son two years ago and he has not been back to the doctor yet for any shots or any health complications. Some people would assume that we are not good parents because our children do not regular the doctors office. Because their vaccinations are not up to speed, because their medical records are practically nonexistent, but I say along with a growing number of health conscious people that our children will be better off due to their immune systems learning how to fight off the common bugs that float around, and that if they should ever need an antibiotic down the road it will be more effective, because they have not been over loaded with it to the point that there is an immunity against the treatment. The interesting thing is that due to the lack of toxic build up in our childrenís systems and the fact that they consume large amounts of whole foods such as organically grown vegetables and fruits along with organic free range meats and alkaline water, our family rarely suffers from the common cold or flu. In our house you can always tell who has fallen prey to the worldly ways, they are the ones who catch the bug in the late fall/winter months. Due to the knowledge that my husband and I have instilled in our children, when such a thing occurs, the child with the ailment will fall back into what they know and even may due a body cleanse. Healing their body quickly and naturally. My hope in in my books and writings is to bring to your family as much knowledge as I can in an easy understandable way. A way that will help you to realize that yes, health and nutrition take time, effort, focus and money, but itís really not as hard as you might think. You do not have to be a doctor or medical guru of any kind to get your family, your precious children on the right path to a healthy future. There will be ruts in the road ahead, there will many turns and a lot of hills, but if you are willing to push on and to keep gassing up your family nutritional car, you will raise healthy, vibrant, smart choice making adults. The future of our world! From one mom to the world of parents out there, I pray that my books are an insightful pathway to the future you long for.
