I was born in Edinburgh Scotland and came over to Canada with my parents and older sister Margaret. We came by ship called "The Fairsea" in 1957. The crossing took 13 days. I now live in Napanee, Canada with my husband Denis (A Retired High School French Teacher) And my 14 year old diabetic grey cat called Serge.

Background Information

I read a book called "The Enchanted Wood" by Enid Blyton when I was just a young child. This book to me was so magical I suppose that led up to my love of writing children's stories. I am still very child like myself even at my age.

A few years back I took a writing course with The Children's Writer and got my writers certificate.

I also became a member of The Canadian Children's Book Centre.
