Background Information

Ms. Stephanie Poplar is a dynamic trainer, motivational speaker, and Business Networking Coach, 501 C-3 consultant, author, real estate agent, and radio host of two shows which include “Journey to Wellness and Success” and the “ER” Hour, Empowerment Resource Hour. 

She holds her M.A. in Legal, Ethical & Historical Studies & B.A. in Government & Public Policy from the University of Baltimore, and an A.A. in General Studies from Villa Julie College.  Ms. Poplar is a Network Director of NAFE, National Association of Females Executives and a Co- Director of a multicultural networking group called, Face to Face Networking.


Her non-profit work called We Care Baltimore provides employment, health, and financial education and resources for Baltimore City, Baltimore County & Prince Georges County residents.

Ms.Poplar is the publisher of The Proud Neighbor Magazine for Maryland. She also is the CEO and publisher of New Day Publishing, LLC, and serves as the author representative for Westview Publishing,Inc..

Ms.Poplar empowers an audience by delivering programs that increase hope, performance and real-life results. She electrifies them by sharing her life experiences, strategies, poetry, humor and working resources. Ms. Poplar is indeed one of a kind. Her charisma and work has influenced both individuals and organizations nationwide.

As a child, Ms. Poplar peers and siblings considered her to be different.

In spite of academic challenges, undiagnosed learning disability, growing up in public housing, with an absentee father, her persevered to become a positive producing product of her environment. Her colleagues call her a walking resource guide. For, Ms. Poplar has a resource for any and everybody who meets her. She has been featured in many articles.
