Background Information

Louise Shaffer, is a graduate of Yale Drama School, has written for television, and has appeared on Broadway, in TV movies, and in daytime dramas, earning an Emmy for her performance on Ryan's Hope.

In 2003 she published her first novel "The Three Miss Margarets". In 2005 the follow-up "The Ladies of Garrision Gardens" was released to critical acclaim.

Louise's third novel for Random House Publishing, "Family Acts" hit the shelves. "Family Acts" has garnered favorable reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly and Booklist. 

"Serendipity" was released on March 24th, 2009.
