At the present time, I am working and making a living with an ability (gift) I was born with--carpentry and construction. This is the profession I chose out of necessity upon discharge from the Marines--it has supported me all these years. Ironicly, I have received the equivalent of the 'Oscar' in this profession by a board of my peers: "Contractor of the Year" back in the mid eighties.
I am still active as a writer and am trying to complete at least one screenplay that has been a "work-in-progress" for over twenty years! The title is (The Baker's Son) and it is based on my lifes' experiences which covers my journey from small town, country boy, to Marines in Vietnam, to Hollywood glory days, and back to my hometown--marriage, children, job, and peace of mind.
