Writers are the looking glass beyond sight, sound and soul.
And, Writers are like parents with too much time on their hands and a story to tell.
My son Danny McGrew's words, I guess that is how he sees his mom.

I was born in Beloit, Wisconsin and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. When a teenager I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a child my ambition was to be a ballet dancer and I studied with Comikoff in Chicago, but I think I've always been a writer. As a child, I made up stories to amuse myself. When I was about thirteen I began writing short stories, hoping to be better at something than my sister, who was a very good writer. I'm not sure I am, but I'm published and she isn't.
I attended the University of New Mexico, the College of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande and Western States University College of Law. I have worked in the banking and insurance industries. I was Director of Publicity for the University of Albuquerque, and was a motel manager. I have used my knowlege of my work as well as the study of dance in the books I write. I've appeared in little theater productions in Albuquerque and Chicago.
My husband, Lou, and I enjoy travel and we've been to all fifty states, Puerto Rico, and about thirty-five foreign countries. It's hard to chose a favorite, but I did enjoy New Zealand very much. It's seems to have a little bit of everything.
In my writing I've used the various places I've lived and visited, and sometimes, I combine a town or two and make them into one.
My husband and I were both pilots and used to fly to some of the locations we visited on business or pleasure, We enjoyed trips to Aspen for downhill skiing and I'm proud that my son was a member of the UNM Ski Team. These interests, too, sometimes end up in my novels.
I write in various genre including: general fiction, mainstream, contemporary and historical romance, paranormal romance, western romance.
So far, I have twenty-two books published and contracts for more, and I've still other stories floating around in my head. I hope you'll visit my other website: http://www.geocities.com/jve321/Booksrev.html and see most of the books I've written and where to get them.
