Background
Information
I have been significantly influnced in my creative development by a variety of individuals and traditions--Shakespeare & the Bible, Lao Tzu & Alchemy, Greek Tragedy & Japanese Noh, Dostoevsky & Camus, dialogical philosophy, deep ecology, Kabbalah and Shamanism. This mix of influences, along with others not mentioned here, have in time combined to generate out of me a significant body of work in several genres. History too has influenced me and my reflective evulation of the human condition. Consequently I have throughout my adult years been a humanitarian advocate and activist for peace, that is non violent resolution of conflicts, social justice, interfaith dialogue, cross cultural enrichment and environmental protection and restoration.

Additional Information

Previously I had published a book of original stage plays under the title PLAYING WIHT PURPOSE. Several of the plays in that volume have been performed in Seattle, WA; including an invitation performance at the Seattle Asian Art Museum; and through the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. I was formerly the director of a world class dance studio and community theater. I offer a few one man performances, which include selections from the work of Shakespeare, Marlowe, Sophocles, and my own stage offerings, and also a variety of workshops in theater arts, dream work and creative writing. I have some customized workshops for seniors and others for individuals and families confronting and coping with such life threatening diseases as cancer and AIDS. I am available for both performances and workshops and interested persons are encouraged to contact me.

HEALING, A Book Of Poetry
If I may say so myself, I have started promoting this selection of 76 poems, gathered out of more than 400 composed between 1976-2007, as a Book Of Psalms for the 21st Centry. A reader can certainly preview a small portion of the book through this URL, but I will also gladly share two or three other poems with anyone who writes to me. Dedicated, dated and author autographed copies of the book are also available directly. Just write, say Hi and I will share.
