Influences include W.H.Auden, Dylan Thomas, T.S.Eliot, Robert Frost, Paul Auster, Charles Bukowski, John Steinbeck and William Shakespeare. A great admirer of the French cinema and certain American film directors. His motivation perhaps stems from a compulsion and need to create daily which means a frequent change of disciplines to accomodate this drive. Much of his work is also politically motivated yet he has written about love, the joy of life, the inevitability of death and the wonder of planet earth.
