I write because I write. Books that you can read on a plane, or the train to work or on a bus. Not books where you are doing mental gymnastics figuring out whats going on, but just a good yarn. Mind you, there's the odd twist here and there. The characters are broadly based upon people I've met over the years, and the places are all real places. I've spent a lot of years travelling outback Australia, and it shows.

Jim is an ex electronics engineer, radio ham, computer software writer, teacher, 4wd traveller, and business owner. After completing 30 years in Education, Jim retired medically to run a 4wd/communications busines and write stories. He still travels extensively throughout the Australian outback when he's not spending time at home with his wife and 2 dogs (the kids are all grown up).
