I am a high school and college teacher--English, Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Art and History. I love to see young people awaken to their talents and potential--especially in writing and the arts. And I love writers who break ground-the Harlem Renaissance writers, Maya Angelou, Jewel, ee cummings, and so many others.
