About Anthony:
Anthony is a Microsoft and Comptia certified professional who graduated from Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario.
He was born and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada and moved to Toronto in 2000 to embark on a career in information technology. While living in Yarmouth, he served close to 7 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Yarmouth Fire Department, and worked in his family’s restaurant business for over 5 years before deciding to get into the information technology industry.
Having taken technology training from both Humber and Seneca Colleges, he graduated from Seneca in March of 2004. The same week he graduated, he started his own computer repair business for home users.
In addition to operating his own computer repair business, he has worked in technical roles for Microsoft internal vendors, Seneca College, the Canadian Diabetes Association, and Thindesk Inc.
After starting work in the information technology industry, Anthony realized that there was a need for non-technical professionals to be educated. He noticed that more often than not, ordinary people were being misled, sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally. This is what prompted him to start writing his book.
Anthony plans on writing follow-up editions for both home users and businesses as technology changes. Be sure to check new editions as they come out
