Always loved writing! Now I have an abundance of characters, plots and imagination to keep me motivated. It's true I started my career as a patrol officer where I walked a beat in Columbia, SC then became a detective for Lexington County Sheriff's Department. Later, after college, I worked in New York and traveled all over the world. It was very rewarding. But my heart was always in writing. Eventually, I went back to school to become a medical doctor. THE only reason I went to Med School was to be a Forensic Pathologist. I love it! So, now I am able to combine both passions in my life into a rewarding writing career.  I like to write about things I know and places I've been.  I actually use bits and pieces of people I've met and combine them into my characters.

When he falls under suspicion and is removed from the case, DeLaney and Kabala team up to solve the case and clear his name. Things couldn't worse, until DeLaney becomes the target of the killer. Although the story is strictly fictional, the author's technical expertise in forensic medicine is authentic.
