I've always been obsessed with every form of entertainment. My passion for books came later in life when I was grown and willing to learn more about everything. I began to read and wondered how I denied myself such a pleasure in my youth, a time when I lived off of cliff notes and the cute girl who sat next to me in English Literature. Soon through reading, my suppressed creative juices boiled over just as I was learning to type beyond the "hunt-and-peck" method I had utilized for almost a decade. It started as stress relief, a way to escape the daily stresses of life. Then I did what every writer does, I had an overload and started to write several different stories, but didn't finish any of them. I grappled with an eye condition called Keratoconus for fifteen years, and finally one of the best surgeons in Denver decided it was time for me to get a new cornea. The transplant itself was an experience I could write an entire book about and probably will someday. During my recuperation period I sat in front of my laptop with an eye patch, seventeen stitches in my right cornea, and an afro (I didn't get out much) and wrote my first complete manuscript. Since then I've been a man obsessed with writing. Fortunately I trimmed down the afro and the stitches eventually came out. Now here I am a new author in this world of masters and minions. I hope to become the former. I work full-time and I'm happily married with two children. As you can imagine my time is spread pretty thin, but I make it work. Major Influences: Everything around me that I can hear, taste, touch, see, or smell. I take it all in...every second of it.
