She uses her past history as the business owner of a travel agency and a business consulting company. She has worked briefly as a legal assistant and paralegal. Her employment as an office manager for a surgeon and brief stints in an insurance office and accounting office have given her a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the world. Her great love for research adds to this mix.

Gale Laure is just now back in her home from its destruction from hurricane Ike.
She is presently hard at work on two more books. She is editing her sci-fi, murder-mystery, suspense, thriller, historical romance named "The Bunkhouse" (due to be released in 2010). She is writing the sequel to her first novel, "Evolution of a Sad Woman". She is researching a future novel to be set in New Orleans.
