Saundra Carter is a first time published author who lives in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She has more than 15 years as an IT Professional with many Fortune 500 companies. She has tutored math on a voluntary basis since 1990. In 2003, she founded a mathematics tutoring company, Math 1 On 1, LLC.

As a youth, Saundra Carter recalled many times stating emphatically “I HATE MATH”. That sentiment changed with her 11th grade math teacher’s simplistic and artistic approach to math made it fun and easier to decipher.
She hopes that parents reading her new book "How to Help Parents and Kids Get Over the Fear of Math" can use this reference tool to move their children from fear to ferocity.

Her educational credentials include a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a M.S. in Computer Science from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
