I write because I must. That alone, unfortunately, does not imbue my work with either quality or appeal. After the 1% from inspiration, Edison's other 99% kicks in, perspiration. Even the 1 and 99 however, still guarantee nothing, but...I write because I must.

I've lived, but am not yet done. I've learned, but only scratched the surface of all there is to know. I've begun, but am barely out of the garage on a cross-country trip.
What I've achieved in my life has made a difference in the lives closest to me, but there will be no lines at my funeral. I could die content today, but hope that I have much more time to do all those things I haven't had time for yet.
