I was born, raised and currently residing in Springfield, Ohio with my wife and three children. I attend Urbana University as a full time student of Business and Human Services. I works full time as an Accounting Manager in a firm I founded with my wife. I’ve been writing stories since a very young age, often spending sixteen hours or more with pen in hand or at the keyboard.

I guess my influence come from mileage. I’ve walked a lot of miles in my own boots and travelled thousands more through reading the biographies of great men and women. Great acts and great stories come from putting ordinary people in extraordinary situations that test their mettle.

I try to write a good story, with twists and turns with enough room for the characters to come to life. The setting is the backdrop, but if it isn’t interesting it may as well just be a white canvas on which sterile stick figures are drawn. The characters are products of their environment and I like to consider my setting- Bedford Mississippi, Mayfield, Ohio, or Champion City as characters in my story. The backdrop has to be three dimensional and the characters must be colorful, otherwise it doesn’t come together at least not for me. I guess that’s because I like to write the type of thing I’d want to read, a big story with an epic feel with lot’s of characters working in, around, or behind the scenes. I like my villains to be despicable, bigger than life, and ultimately fall to their biggest weakness- human nature. I hope that this will help me achieve success, ultimately it’s up to my readers.
 

It’s a compulsion really. I am much happier when I am writing. When I finish a big project I experience something akin to post-partum depression and for weeks (or, in the case of Frank Testimony, months) I experience a sort of depressive withdrawals. I do love to write, and I love to read a good story, preferably some epic tale that just draws me in and takes me to a different time and place where I can get absorbed in the lives of the characters. I hope that my writing should do the same for my readers. My fictional works include the legal thriller Frank Testimony, The Coming of T’Loal -a Cthulhu mythos arc, a trilogy of spy novels, An Ultra Violent Techno-Thriller called Carnage, A Dozen Songs, a fantasy/horror piece called The Land beyond the Mirror. Also forthcoming: The Champion City Series of pulp detective novels written in the hard boiled style, starring gumshoe Thurman Dicke. Hard Up- a Champion City Pulp Serial The Champion.
