I grew up in the segregated south and mid-west, which, was quite confusing for a kid and young adult. I do believe those experiences made me a better person. I have been living in Southern California for the past 40 years. I enjoy people and love meeting and discovering new cultures and ventures. My new poetry book entitled "Coming Together In Harmny'" with 77 original poems and illustrations, touches passionately on racial harmony, understanding, and tolerance. I have been blessed with gifts in the creative fields of poetry, book writing, songwriting, and singing. I'm currently working on my 4th poetry book, 5th & 6th vocal CDs, and 3rd instrumental CD. My genre is mainly jazz. I write and sing a lot of romantic songs, with romantic story lines. Many of my romantic poems have been converted into songs. I have an indepndent record label, Sweet Harmony Records, LLC. I am able to write personalized greeting cards for almost any ocassion by a person simply answerng 12 questions. I also have been providing Special Education services for secondary schools for 15 years. I have a Masters degree in Special Education. I have created my Young, Alert and Aware program for chidren ages,5-15. The program is a safety, awareness,and self-confidence program unlike any in the nation. Since 1986, I have taught thousands of children in So. California the program and continue to do so. To balance these endeavors, I teach the martial arts and realistic street self-defense. I am a Master of the arts, holding a 5th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and Aikido. That's it! I guess I'm just bored!!!!!! (smile)

I have received numerous Awards from poetry.com and the International Poetry Society, of which I have recently been offered membership. My poems are included in a number of antholgies and have recently been offered a publishing deal by poetry.com. I have received numerous awards in the martial arts and hold 4 life teaching credentials in secondary and adult education.

Two brand new music CDs will be released in March, 2008. My new poetry book has just been realeased, and I have another poetry book on romance and relationships, due to be released in April or May of 2008. I recently taped a T.V. show where I was the guest, speaking about my book on racial harmony, understanding, and tolerance. The show,was shot in Beverly Hills, CA. Meet And Greet is the name of the show, and air time will be late winter or early spring, 2008. I am scheduled to give of number of Young, Alert and Aware presentations to Girl Scout Troops in the area, with the first one taking place, February 10th, 2008.
