My plays have been produced across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America . South Africa and India. My first one act play "Opposites Attract" has been translated into Romanian, Spanish and Catalan for productions in Romania, Peru and Spain. My play "Ruby Of Elsinore" won the All Ireland One Act Play Competition. Before turning to playwriting I wrote for television and the movies. I am best known for writing the "moo goo gai pan" episode of "The Bob Newhart Show" which was named by TV Guide as one of the ten best television episodes of all time. I was born in New York, grew up in Southern California and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.
