I write because I love to write. Nothing is better than watching your thoughts flow onto the page by just a slight movement of your hand. Writing is one of the all too few things that gives me absolute bliss.
That was a bit too serious sounding. Let me start again.
Not many people tell me I'm a good writer, besides my family. But then again, the only other people who really read stuff I write are my teachers, teachers in school where writting is bound up and controlled. How do they excpect to find good future authors without letting our writing bounce all over the place? Impossibly improbabable. With that as an example, could someone please explain why I shouldn't say "I couldn't care less," when someone says my writing stinks? Where do they get the right to judge me? They don't. Writing is like a living thing. You have to let it grow, feed it and take care of it, because if you shut it up in a box without sunlight it won't survive. So I rest my case.
Moral of my rant: Don't pay attention to what other people say when it really counts only to you.
