The widow of noted science fiction author Philip K. Dick. Adjunct Professor of English and communications.

Background Information

A lifelong interest in the strange and unexplained has led me to write science fiction and fantasy, as well as some non-fiction. My poetry and short fiction has won a number of awards. I wrote my first story at age 12, to entertain my baby sister and her friends. I made my first sale at age 15, when Alive! magazine bought my article and photos. My stories are character-driven. The biggest influence on my writing has been my husband, Philip K. Dick, author of Bladerunner.
