Background Information

I was born (child number ten) thirteen hours after my twin brother into the Watson family at Granby, Missouri. We celebrated birthdays on different days. After high school graduation, I began a forty-year career as secretary in various jobs. My husband of 43 years and I live in Southeast Texas and have one son, two daughters, and an English Bulldog.

Eleven years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, one of my first thoughts was that I wanted to write a book before I died. I'm a 15% cancer survivor and I wrote my first book last year at the age of 64.

Not knowing how to write a book, I entered "HOW TO WRITE A CHRISTIAN NOVEL" in the search engine. I bought the book that surfaced ("How To Write and Sell a Christian Novel by Gilbert Morris). I read the book three times and started writing. I also studied my daughter's college English books. It was hard but fun. I feel pleased with the final manuscript.

Accomplishments

I produced two cassets of hymns on my digital piano (piano, strings, bass).
I played the piano for three gospel singing groups.
I taught a ladies Sunday School Class
I gave piano lessons several years
