I grew up in Ethiopia, East Africa as the daughter of missionaries. Africa still has a great influence on my life. Check out my article on Ethiopian Food.

I now live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband. When not writing, I love to cook gourmet meals, take long candle-lit baths, read a good book, or study history.  

My greatest achievement has been being the a wife for 27 years and mother of my two grown children, Leah and Kent. I find joy, laughter, tears and deep love with them. My family is my rock, my steadying influence in this crazy writing world I live in. Thanks kids.

My second greatest accomplishment is having my book published. I have achieved my dream. My story, If I Perish has been turned into a novel, which came out in September 2002.

Writing is such an exciting journey. I have had several articles published in various publications, including one in Northwest Family Magazine on Ethiopian Food. You can see more of my writing on my site here.
