I live in northern Colorado, and have for most of my life. I've been reading fantasy and science fiction novels for a long time, and have been writing ever since I can remember being able to hold a pencil. I currently have three novels finished, the first of which has just been published! The synopsis and front cover artwork is available for viewing on my website, www.ajcalvin.net. I hold a degree in microbiology, which has little to do with the books I've written so far, but I've always been a science geek and find those studies fascinating. Currently, I'm working on going back to school to get my teaching license; it's something I should have done the first time I was in college, but I guess it's better late than never.
