I have been writing for more than 5 years and have a book out called ''Hymywho Who'' it teaches children about emotions and feelings and that those very same feelings are not a bad thing. I have done everything short of selling my soul to get my work out there to those who care to see it. I have written everything from horror, children's books, science fiction, comic strip syndicated comics, self help that deals with parenting, thriller and so on. I have run into the same depressing rejections we all have dealt with, and have a large collection of ''Thanks but no thank you'' letters and e-mails enough to wallpaper every wall in my home. Writing and story telling is what I like to do, and is all I care to do. My stories have grown into 30+ and have grown beyond the room I have, but since I don't really care to subject my writing to just one form I will write something interesting about nearly every genre out there except poetry and romance. Now I haven't spent as much time as many others writing but I can tell you this, I am willing to spend the next twenty years if need be to become what I want. What I want is to sit aside writers like Douglas Adams and have my stories loved as much. Whether I start my own site for new or aspiring authors is yet to be seen, but if so I will need to gain the respect of the people before that dream is realized. This is where it starts.
