I'm a commissioned lay Eucharistic Minister in the Episcopal Church (Diocese of Northwest Texas). While I'm not an ordained clergy member, I do think that one's Christian vocation is an important part of life. I'm a small business owner, part-time merchandiser and freelance writer.
Most of my writing focuses on the liturgical Christian tradition (particuarly Anglicanism), Christian apologetics, anthropological topics, animal welfare, and conservation. I do write about other subjects, too, and feel it's important for writers to speak out about whatever they feel is important.
I write about the subjects I do because these issues are important to me as well as many other people. Learning about the authentic faith of early Christiandom is very important, especially in light of the many cults around today. Anthropological topics can bring history and other cultures alive for us. Animal welfare and conservation are important, as we share our world with countless other species.
My major influences are CS Lewis, Max Lucado, JRR Tolkein, JK Rowling, Diana Gabaldon, Ursula K. LeGuinn, Nancy Springer, and Elizabeth Peters.
I've recently published a booklet titled "Understanding Oneness Pentecostal Doctrine: A Guide for the Puzzled Christian"
