Okay, well I'm a fantasy writer from Plymouth, England, and I graduated from the University of Winchester with a Creative Writing and Drama BA in October 2008. I've been writing since... well for as long as I can remember. I mean, I used to tell my little brother stories in the car on our way to school in the mornings when I was 5, I'd writen my first short story by the time I was 11, and my first play by the time I was 13.
During university I became much more disiplined, and determined in my persuit of becoming a writer, so watch this space.
I'd say my major influences have been great shows like Charmed, anime, and manga, Point Horrors, and the Rameses series of books by Christian Jacq. I have had a fasination with ancient Egypt ever since I learnt about mummification when I was 7, since then my fasination with the mystery of it has grown.
As a fantasy writer I have created an increadibly complex, detailed, and well drawn fantasy world. Don't believe me? then ask some of my fans. And yes Believe it or not I do have fans already, that's the wonder of the world wide web I guess, allowing you to test the waters and boost your confidence.
My first series of books Blood, Friendship, and Marriage takes place within the historical part of my fantasy universe, and the entire series was writen in about 9 months. Currently only the first title Time Forgets is availible.
My second pseudo series takes place in a slightly off-key modern day England. It does not as yet have an over arching title although I have finished writing the first two parts and am about to get my teeth stuck into part three. Again it's set within the realms of my fantasy universe, but has more horror undertones, or at least tries to. What I'm aiming to achieve with this new series is not only to show the versatility of my fantasy world, but to show how well it can combine with elements of current pop-fiction marking its own take on some long held ideas... well kinda.
Overall I think my message to anyone out there reading this now is watch this space, cuz I don't plan to stay in the shadows forever.

Some of you might be wondering about the quote i've used in my intro. The quote is from a dear friend, and wonderfully talented writer to be I know. She write straight fiction that really makes you think, and really knows about the true heart of a good story. She's just at the start of her carier, or will be once I get to pushing her XD.
