Background Information

Amanda Hamm grew up in a small town in northern Ohio, the kind of place where the teachers occasionally called you by your mother's name. She now lives in North Carolina with her husband and two young children. She realized a lifelong dream with the completion of her first book in 2007 and has since released a second.

Dear Jane Letters is a romantic comedy. The heroine writes an advice column and letters from her column appear in the book.

Zero Station is science fiction set in Antarctica. A contact team works to understand some accidental visitors. In the second half, we learn the visitors' perspective.

Amanda is working on a third novel. This will be another romantic comedy... eventually.
