Guide to BEAUTIFUL, BLACK, HEALTHY HAIR! If you want to learn to grow long, strong, healthy hair. Here's all your answers

Background Information

About 12 years ago (The 1st & last time) I had weave put in my hair. At the time, the "thing" to do was to glue it in. I went to the beauty shop and got a fresh relaxer and then a french roll put in (she used weave to give it fullness). About a week later, my hair started to itch like crazy. After taking my hair down, it started to fall out by the handfuls, mostly in the crown of my head, but it also fell out and thinned in EVERY spot the weave was placed. I ended up with a bald spot in the middle of my head (To the scalp) about 2.5" diameter. Not to mention all of the hair everywhere else that was thinning and breaking. My hair was a mess. I wore a ponytail to cover up the spot as much as I could. Despite this tragedy, I continued to relax my hair, BUT I did start to do research on how to get it back healthy. Because it took years for my hair to grow back, I consulted in a couple of doctors. I was told that I had an allergic reaction to the glue; my follicles were probably permanently damaged; I had alopecia; and a couple other diagnosis. I got a couple of shots in the balding area and NOTHING. my hair would not grow any more than and inch or so, so I began some serious research.

After 12 years of research I have come up with this comprehensive guide to reaching your hair's fullest potential. You will learn what ingredients are best for Black hair, as well as how to effectively care for relaxed AND natural hair. You will also be instructed on how to care for braid extensions, minimize split ends and breakage, the correct way to wash and condition your hair and much, much more. This book is entertaining as well as informative. You will find yourself laughing while becoming equipped with EVERYTHING you need to know to have beautiful, black, healthy hair

Additional Information

I conduct seminars and workshops, FREE OF CHARGE, to help African American Women learn to take care of their hair. I also have a hair care product line to help ensure the health of our hair. The products do not contain the toxic and damaging ingredients of the majority of products on the shelves today.
