I was born a long, long time ago in the Keystone State - grew up in Allentown. I also lived in Florida and California before settling Texas. Picked up a few degrees along the way - Florida Tech (BS-Marine Biology) and Houston Baptist University (MS-Management, Computing, and Systems). Been pretty much a loner most of my life, but since getting serious about writing, have become somewhat of a joiner - Houston Scriptwriters, Sisters in Crime and The Final Twist, to name a few.
I've always told stories - got in trouble for more than few! At age ten, I started started writing down ideas for stories to entertain my youngest brother, but really got the bug when a sixth grade teacher gathered the best of the class's work for the year into a book called Miscellaneous. My work in print!
While I always drempt about writing novels, I didn't make a serious attempt until meeting Mark Phillips. We found out quite by accident that we shared a passion for writing and the partnership was born. I often wonder - if he knew then what he knows now...would he still take the leap?
