Background Information

After getting divorced, I found myself a bit lonely and decided to dive into the then-unfamiliar world of internet dating.

After not being in that arena for many, many years I had no idea what to expect - and was completely unprepared for what was about to happen. It's these crazy, true stories that I have compiled here in this short read detailing just a few of my hard-to-believe 'adventures'.

Michael V. Clark was born in Queens, New York, in 1963 as one of five children. Being raised in New York, he met his first wife in 1990, married at the end of 1991 and divorced in 2002 while living and working in New York, New Hampshire, and Florida. He now resides with his second (and last) wife in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Between his divorce and marrying again in October of 2007, Michael dated, meeting seventy-one women. Some dates were fun…with most becoming second dates. Some dates produced short-term relationships while others went five or six deep. Though enjoying meeting them all, some dates were, well, complete disasters. It’s those disastrous, difficult-to-believe true stories that are detailed here in this hilarious look at internet dating. If you’ve ever done online dating, then you certainly can relate to these tales, and might just find yourself saying, “I’ve been on a date JUST like that!”
