Susie Hemingway has been writing poetry for a number of years but started in earnest when her husband Hamada was diagnosed with the wretched disease Multiple Myeloma. She chronicles a continuous register, in the form of poems telling of their life together and her love for him. She has now been asked to publish a small anthology of these poems and this work is in progress, selecting from these many poems of love. Susie has lived in the Middle East for a number of years and some of her poems are influenced by her travels and from her memories of this time.
A Mother of two adult boys and Grandmother of one Grandson, Susie now lives in a small quiet rural village in Linconshire UK. From her windows she overlooks pasture land and stunning views of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
