My name is Dannetta Jennings  My influences is my daughter and my family and friends. Children are a really big influence since I come from a large family with plenty of nieces and nephews. I was inspired to become an Author when my daughter entered the 2nd grade. This is the age they start to read and what better way to encourage her reading. So I started writing children books and it has just consumed by life. I love children and creating wonderful stories for them to read.

Ms. Jennings is passionate about her writing and interjects her compassion for children and animals in her stories. Her books are beautifully illustrated and are sure to inspire readers of all ages.

Bubba and Duke
Bubba is a hound dog and Duke is a flea. Bubba has been sheltered most of his life, living on a beautiful ranch never venturing out of his gate. Bubba is very uncomfortable and is in need of assistance. Caroline Bubba's owner has known Bubba all his life and she has taken over the care of Bubba and she loves him dearly. A cleaver and convincing flea appears on Bubba and he has no idea what it is. Duke reveals himself to Bubba and explains to him that he was sent there to teach him about the world by taking him on different adventures.

Jeffery the Sea Turtle
Jeffery is a young sea turtle that is on a search for his family. He has no memory of his parents at all he is not sure exactly who or what he is. Jeffery sets out on a quest to find out what he is. He solicits underwater friends to help him on his search.
