I am driven by life and the many situations that it holds for each individual. I write from experience and from sight. My surroundings feed me and I am provided through my own trials with the words that I share, I have been writing since the age of 12 thanks to 2 of my middle school teachers who saw potential in me and stopped at nothing to ensure that I saw it as well. They led me to follow the poetry of the likes of Edna St. Vincent Millay, Langston Hughes, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Maya Angelou, and many others.

I have been published in several chapbooks, literary mags(on and offline), some poetry anthologies and have self published a few of my own collections of poetry as well as a compilations book featuring 16 other poets besides myself.
