I write historical romance. For details, covers and extracts from my books, come in and visit my pages here at Authors' Den!

Background Information

My passion for writing historical romance, which came from a fascination with medieval history at university, led me to offer A Knight's Vow to Kensington Publishing in New York. This in turn proved to be the first of several 'Knight' books for them - A Knight's Captive, A Knight's Enchantment and To Touch the Knight. The Snow Bride, another medieval, came out at Christmas 2011 and my newest title, The Lord and Eleanor, is out now from Ellora's Cave. Almost all my books are available in paper and as ebooks.

I also enjoy writing books set in the ancient world, of which Flavia's Secret, set in Roman Britain, was the first to be published (Bookstrand, 2008), with Blue Gold (ancient Egypt) and Bronze Lightning (Bronze Age Greece and Britain) following in 2009.

When I started publishing fiction, it was modern romantic suspense, set mostly in the Mediterranean. My suspense books include Voices in the Dark, set in Italy, and Night of the Storm, set in Greece (both published by Hodder Headline in the UK and now ebooks from both Smashwords and Amazon Kindle), The English Daughter, set in the Greek Islands and reissued by Lysandra Press in December 2011, Palace of the Fountains in northern Spain and Chasing Rachel set on Dartmoor. There also two shorter, lighter romantic suspense stories: A Secret Treasure (Rhodes, Greece) and Holiday in Bologna (Italy), available as separate ebooks and together in paperback as Summer Duet.

'A Knight's Captive' was shortlisted for the 2009 Romantic Times Reviewers' Award in the Historical Novel category.
