Former President of Mattel Toys who now serves on public company boards and is active in a variety of charitable organizations.
The inspiration to write books after leaving corporate life occurred in an odd manner. While helping a terminally ill friend, I noticed books on his shelf about writing fiction. He said that this was his dream, to write a novel. After his death, I wrote the first novel in his honor, which was called Divided Roads. I have also written White Canvas, A Cedar Valley Christmas, Nice Average Guy and co-wrote Florian's Special Gift.
The story in Divided Roads has been adapted into a screenplay and is being considerated for an independent movie.
All of the books have been donated to charities or the royalties from book sales have been given to worthy causes.
In the case of Nice Average Guy, all royalties will be donated to TrinityKids Care, which is one of the hospice programs dedicated to children with life threatening conditions.
