First novel published through iuniverse.com in Feb 2009 titled "The Shadow of Simon Magus" This is a fictionalized version of a true paranormal case in which a man believed himself to be possessed by the spirit of the Biblical sorcerer Simon Magus. (see reviews on Amazon.com 2nd novel just published on 5/5/11 through Publish America is titled "Vyrkolakos; From the Files of the National Paranormal Research Society" It is a fictional story set in St. Augustine, Florida involving Professor Robert K. Caroli the head of the NPRS who received 3 emails, all from St. Augustine and all reporting being attacked by a dark figure in their rooms at night. Investigating he finds that 11 skeletons were recently unearthed from an island in the Indian River. One female had a spike driven through her sternum and deep into the earth. Archeologists determined that she and the other 10 skeletons must have come from the failed New Smyrna colony in 1777 and because of the many deaths and illnesses in the colony she must have been thought to have been a vampire. The remains were transferred to a graveyard in St. Augustine and all vampire precautions were removed of course. Now Prof Caroli and his team must somehow convince the authorities that they have a real live vampire on their hands!
