Background? I speak Russian, Estonian and still learn English! As a film critic I supported Baltic Documentary. The best films were banned by Moscow controlling institutions. They needed protection. We, the powerless critics, did what we could. It was all terrible; I prefer not to look back. America turned to be different from what I expected it to be. Incredible quality, professionalism in absolutely everything one stumbles upon, incredible quality of films, camerawork, actor's acting skills, and catastrophic loss of humanness. "I love you!" --”I love you too!" -- Love is reduced to mundane exchange of words that mean very little! However, when America started to crumble under the rule of Bush administration, I discovered that I love this country and said, "I already buried one empire, my share has been done! it would be too much for me to see another going down the drain!"
