For me, a photograph is a mystical portal through which one may experience another's creative vision. I have a great passion for powerful, intriguing artistic expression; those special shots that capture your heart and imagination and pull you into the image, so I wish everything to have meaning and impact.

It is endlessly fascinating how one photo stands alone as a work of art, with some revealing exquisite surprises. Many times, something not quite immediately evident on a conscious level will draw my eye, and later when the image is captured and upon closer examination is the mystery and magic revealed.

Intrigued by the many cultures of the world with much travel and exploration, I find language fascinating. I am a professional photographer and a student of culture and linguistics.

I enjoy exploring the earth, studying languages, history, word origins and culture as well as many other subjects of interest. People truly fascinate me. I believe life is too brief to be confined to a routine way of life. Years flash by. Every day is a gift and we create our own reality. Happiness is a choice.
