Registered nurse with 2 masters (U of California, Johns Hopkins U) and doictorate (Johns Hopkins U) in public health and wellness. 60 years experience as nurse practitioner, educator, author, and researcher. Seven previous books and one in progress-all non-fiction. Sixty articles and book chapters published, and 57 research papers presented around the USA and Europe.

Thirty eight year lung cancer survivor given 6 months to live so I used alternative interventions and now at age 80 I am free of all chronic illnesses and prescribed medications (average  for age 75 is 3 chronic illnesses and 5 prescribed medications. My last book Healthy Holistic Aging tells you how to remain healthy and achieve results similar to my own. I was interviewed on 45 radio stations following publication. My next book You Can Beat Lung Cancer: Using Alternative/Integrative Interventions discusses my experience with cancer and my efforts to remain free of cancer, the demographics, politics, and other background information plus chapters by M.D.'s and PhD's who are successfully treating lung cancer with alternative medical, and nutritional interventions.

As a nurse with a public health background  I have always enjoyed helping others and teaching them how to stay well and avoid illnesses. .My writing has been one way to reach larger numbers of people than when I worked in a hospital, public health setting or with students. I currently host the Holistic Health Show on BBS Radio where I reach large numbers of people all over the world with important holistic health information by my interviews with leaders in the health field. My show has the potential to reach 250,000 subscribers to the show and an average of 10 million hits a month on BBS Radio. .  The show is placed on my website, itunes, podcast alley and other sites after the broadcast and I have had almost 2 million hits on my website and average around 80,000 people each month. So I do reach a large group of people. .
