I have been writing for 13 years now, mostly spanning the area of poetry and essay. 8 years after writing poetry, a major shift to short story writing naturally arrived, where I wanted to marry both prose and poetry, experimenting on different unique ideas on putting a piece together, create distortions, and let creativity take over and destroy and recreate to its own wish.
I have a very strong influence of British humor as from such authors as Douglas Adams, and with Americans I have favored PJ O'rourke and Dave Sedaris.
I have also found strong influence in my writing from Haruki Murakami, Chuck Pallahnuk, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Many of my writings have a very strong philosophical backing, and with some prodding on spirituality, twisting and revisiting what spirituality essentially is, in its universal sense.
