Born in NSW, and now resident in Queensland, Christopher Neville fought early learning challenges to write his first novel, Dark World Prophecy.
Christopher was just 14 when he started writing Dark World Prophecy, the first of three novels set in his own fantasy world. It wasn’t an easy journey. But with the encouragement of his family, he persevered.
And the literacy problem? Christopher found that writing the book, although laborious at first, gave him growing confidence with the written word. Although spelling and grammar is still a challenge, he has a ready made editor in his partner Regan Kingston, who did the final edit of the novel.
Chris intends to write two more books in his Dark World Trilogy, and has other stories he is working on. He admits he never intended to write a novel, he was actually working on a video game when the story so captivated those who read it that he turned it into a book. He still hopes to write video games - but in the meantime being a published author is keeping him busy.
