Strive to Achieve YOU!

Background Information

Do you think that you're too young to make a difference? Keandre Curry didn't think so. On July 15, 2006 he founded the National Crime Prevention Support Group, at the age of 11. Since 2006, he has educated thousands of youth and families. Not including the hundreds of crime victims he has helped receive necessary assistance. Being part of such a progressive campaign, Keandre' proved his leadership ability as the Executive Director and Founder of the NCPSG.

Through his leadership roles in the organization, he continues to increase his knowledge on the issue at hand and grow his communication and ethical skills ultimately paving his own path to continued personal success.

Two years later in 2008, Keandre changed the NCPSG to its current name, the Coalition for Peace of America. During this same year, he created the CurryWritings, a network that inspired to help writers publish their stories and poems. Although this venture was short, Keandre began working on his own short stories, all which are consistent with his works that he write about today: family, success, and self-improvement. Beyond his fancy handwriting, he soon realized his writing potential and took it to the real world.

The world wasn't ready, however. During his 8th grade year at Mayport Coast Sciences Middle School, in Mayport, Florida, he encouraged the
school's former Team UP program director, Anne Kilby, to allow him to teach mini character education lessons to his peers. He even inspired Duval County Public Schools character education consultant, Debbie Hansen, to meet with him in the school's library. For roughly 30 minutes, Debbie and Keandre' conversed about his passion for character education. And in the middle of the meeting, she surprised him with an upscale, character education toolbox that was about five pounds. From making one of the program's teacher shed tears, to receiving high praise from the Principal, Keandre' was on the fast track to accomplishing great things... including in High School.

In 2009, he stepped into the doors of Fletcher High School, as a popular but quiet guy. His calm demeanor didn't last long, as he ran an electric campaign to become the Freshmen Class President, beating out five others. He kept his foot on-the-peddle and won both his sophomore and junior elections, putting him on track to an undefeated tenure as Class President for 2013. Sadly, Keandre' did not get to run his senior year, as his family relocated out of the school's 'zone'.

After years of political success, in 2011, Keandre' begin writing liberal articles for the concluded Morning Eyes Magazine, which was an online Florida-based publication delivering personal viewpoints and factual information on top stories, entertainment, politics and other news. He also took transitory writing opportunities at,, and the Yahoo! Contributor Network in the same time span.

Hope was not lost in the lopsided year, as Keandre' published his first self-help book, Life's Simple Point. The book aimed to encourage people to live their live to the hook line and sinker. Due to a lack of support from independent bookstores and self-publishing costs, the book was pulled from the market. Once the book is revamp, Keandre' has publicly announced he will re-release Life's Simple Point. Beyond his failures, he's still pacing Easy Street, as he's working on two new books--Beyond the Worst and Don't Judge Me—and writing for Rutgers University, SexEtc, and
stepping back into the motivational and speaking field.
