As a young girl, My mother knew that I had a gift to write. I remember sitting at my dresser in my room as young as five years old, making up rhymes and putting meaningful words together on construction paper and giving the writings to who ever I felt needed to feel better of needed to smile. My mother would look in on me and say, "you keep that up you will be known for writing words of comfort to other and keeping them encourage despite of what is going on in their lives." Today, many years later, I can feel it in my heart just what my mother meant by her words so long ago. I thank GOD for the mother that he blessed me with, even in death she still encourages me. One day as I was asleep, I could hear my mother voice so clearly...."When will your book be publshed" I opened my eyes and looked around, I felt that in my heart, I went home to Tennessee and went into my storage and pulled out all my papers that I had written years ago and re-wrote them and put all the papers together and formed my first book..."The Pastor, Reba, Janice and ShaQuita." I have been a stylist for many years, now I am exercising my other talents.
