I am currently a drudge at a local grocery store, slaving away for survival. I do a lot of reading and a lot of writing. Both helps me get by the harsh reality of life.
Sure, life could be worse, but life could be better too - which is inspiration enough to write!

I like to write different kinds of stories, and I tend to jump around a lot (as I do with my reading).
Stephen King, J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Stieg Larsson are authors I tend to read the most from. I enjoy reading stories that build detail from settings, emotions, and characterization.
I am also a movie buff (and was a former DVD/Blu Ray reviewer for MovieFreak.com), which is why I like to be versatile with my writing. I do not want to be placed in one genre, or one area. I know I am not a great writer by any means, but I am learning to perfect my craft and as I continue to write, I am becoming a better writer.
