Barbara holds a journalism degree from St. John’s University, NYC, is a CLASS graduate (Christian Leaders, Authors, Speakers Services), and is an alumni of Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey's Clown College. She has served as the PA State Coordinator for The Homeschool Nation and the Area Coordinator for MOPS International (Mother’s of Preschoolers). She is listed with the Homeschool Speakers and Vendo

Background Information

I have always been a writer. Since I wrote for my elemenary school newspaper until now, sharing thoughts, information, telling stories and encouraging others is what I do best. I have been a newspaper reviewer in NY, written a parenting book, published quite a few magazine articles and written web-content. Now I'm excited to be jumping into the fiction venue as I'm working on my first novel. I have been greatly influenced by classic authors such as Dickens, Austin, Alcott and Steinbeck. Varied in their style and voice, they have inspired me for years.
